Vinça, a quiet village of 2000 inhabitants, is located at the foot of Mount Canigou at 262m above se level and surrounded by fruit trees. The village is on the GR36 walking route and has shops and other services at less than 5 minutes from the house.

In the valley which heads from Perpignan to Andorra, Vinça is at the heart of the department. less than an hour from the coast : Collioure, Banyuls, seaside resorts, Spanish border and also the mountains: Fort Vauban de Montlouis, Four Solaire d’Odeillo, ‘Les Bouillouses’, nature reserves…

The Languedoc-Roussillon region offers very good quality wines. You will discover a good selection of wines at the ‘Cave de Vinça’.

Don’t forget to visit the old town, the fortification walls and church.

Less than 5 minutes away you can cool off at the swimming lake ‘Lac des Escoumes’ (safe swimming, barbecues, inflatables, aquatic activities).
